Abbott Damp Proofing was established in 1982 and specialises in damp control, timber preservation, heat retention ventilation and the Ultrotherm internal insulation system. We are members of the Property Care Association and our surveyors hold CSRT and CSSW qualifications.

Managing Director and company founder David Prince has worked as a surveyor examiner at the Property Care Association, Which? Consumer Association’s damp expert and has worked on a number of television programs.

Our approach to damp control and timber preservation starts with a survey undertaken by one of our highly qualified team of surveyors. This allows us to develop an understanding of the underlying cause of any problems we identify and the way the problems sometimes interact. We provide a written report by e-mail, setting out our conclusions and recommendations including quotations where appropriate. Subsequent work is supported by an extensive range of guarantees.
